About Us

Pleasanton PTA Council was formed on Monday, March 31st, 2003 with the six schools in Pleasanton that were PTA units at that time. Since then, two additional schools have become PTA units and have joined the Council. The current members are:

Alisal Elementary PTA
Fairlands Elementary PTA
Phoebe Apperson Hearst Elementary PTA
Mohr Elementary PTA
Vintage Hills Elementary PTA
Walnut Grove Elementary PTA
Harvest Park Middle School PTA
Amador Valley High School PTSA

The purpose of the Council, and of all PTA components, is:

• to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship
• to raise the standards of home life
• to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
• to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth and to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

PLEASANTON PTA COUNCIL EXECUTIVE BOARD, 2007-2008
