Passport to Pleasanton
The Pleasanton PTA Council sponsored its’ 3rd annual
multicultural festival “Passport to Pleasanton 2007”.
This was a city wide event held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds
and was designed to showcase the growing diversity of Pleasanton.
It included hands-on-exhibits, activities and performances
of groups representing cultures from around the world. With
the support of Amador Valley Adult Ed., PUSD and Rotary, this
enriching event was “free” and over 900 people
attended.
Thanks to the hard-work of all our volunteers and the positive momemtum created by this event, most school sites now host their own multicultural festivals!
