Honorees will receive their awards at the 28th Annual Excellence in Education Awards Ceremony, 
which will begin at 6:30 pm on Monday, May 7, at the Firehouse Arts Center (4444 Railroad Ave).

Friends and families of the honorees, as well as community members, are welcome to attend the ceremony 
to celebrate this achievement! Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

Advocacy Day 2018

Join parents, educators, elected officials, and community members for the 38th annual PTA Advocacy Day for Education hosted by the San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs, Las Trampas Creek Council of PTAs, and Pleasanton PTA Council.  We will explore topics related to public school funding in California. The event will be held on Friday, April 20, from 9 am to 2 pm at the San Ramon Community Center (12501 Alcosta Blvd).

    Has a special teacher or staff member made a difference in your child's education? 

    The Pleasanton PTA Council is pleased to announce the launch 
    of the 2018 Excellence in Education Awards Program.

    To nominate an outstanding staff member in the Pleasanton Unified School District, 
    please fill out this online nomination form
    and submit it by 12 midnight on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

    Paper copies of the nomination form can be requested from your school principal 
    and must be received, along with a copy of your nomination letter, 
    in the Pleasanton PTA Council's mailbox at the PUSD Office, 4665 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, by 4 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

    Please save the date! 
    The awards ceremony will be held the evening of Monday, May 7, 2018 
    (venue to be announced).

    Challenge Success has graciously made two informational videos available to our families for free through February 18, 2018:

    2018 Founders Day Luncheon

    Please join us in celebrating Pleasanton PTA community volunteers and leaders at our annual Founders Day luncheon!

    Our keynote speaker will be Gary Xavier from Think Kindness. The mission of Think Kindness is to inspire measurable acts of kindness in schools and communities around the world. Think Kindness believes that each act of kindness, no matter how small, has an unforeseeable ripple effect that makes the world a better place.

    The lunch buffet will feature spinach salad, assorted warm breads, pasta, grilled chicken breast, seasonal vegetables, and assorted cookies. Iced tea and coffee will also be served.

    Date: Thursday, February 1, 2018

    Time: 11:15 am - Check-in and seating
              11:30 am to 1 pm - Lunch and program
